Introduction
Parkd have been working for over 10 years on making parking seamless. Over the past few years, they've narrowed their focus. They're a parking platform designed entirely around how businesses operate. Whether that's a single car fleet like a hairdresser or a three thousand car energy fleet.
From the outside, Parkd showed up like any other parking app. Full of fluffy langauge about features and failing to really speak to the concrete problems different types of businesses actually face.
Their language, positioning and visual identity was not landing with fleet managers or operations directions in a meaningful way, which was slowing sales cycles and forcing them to explain themselves again and again.
I've worked with Parkd at every major crossroads in their business. This time, they needed a total rehaul to step up for their next stage of growth.
The brief here wasn't to just make Parkd look better, it was to fundementally change how Parkd talk about themselves.
Firstly, I tackled their tagline to have a clearer anchor. "Parking that just works for business." - a single line that makes it impossible to mistake them for a consumer app.
Next, I had to make Parkd easy to navigate for businesses, from solopreneurs to enterprise clients.
Parkd is feature rich but different segments of customer focus heavily on different features. We needed an approach that allowed customers to segment themselves onto pages that spoke directly to them.
In just a three week sprint, we repositioned Parkd and redesigned the entire website, delivering an experience that matches that ambition of their next stage.
